TILBURG, ACHEL-HAMONT,LA TRAPPE AND CITEAUX:what in common?

hello monk friends,beer friends,writers and followers,its cloudy in the philippines,winterseason,means colder,21-30C instead of 31-36C......more wind and sometimes tropical storms.
Today we visit Tilburg,Achel-Hamont,in Belgium and we proceed through France to visit the famous Abbey delaTrappe and the Citeaux abbey.Four remarqueble Abbeys with long tradition and beer knowledge and or historical knowledge about Trappist Monks and their Rules.
Tilburg Koningshoeven Abbey has the only authentic Trappist Beer made by Monks in the Netherlands.They export to usa&canada and other countries and do produce La Trappe double en tripple,very much appreciated in UK.The breweries are within the Communities as well in Benedictabbey the Achelse Kluis in Belgium.Tilburg De Schaapskooi=sheepfold produces also White Beer.The Abbeys in France are famous because of their nameholder capacity=Trappist Monks=delaTrappeAbbaye and the Citeaux abbaye near Dijon, a beautiful building and famous ST Bernard writings.See our other posts from quillaume202blog and wilhelmusblog.
The Abbey of La Trappe is situated in Soligny-la Trappe,Orne,the house of the Origin of the Order of Cistersians of the strict observance=O.C.S.O monks.From Benoit=Benedict to St.Bernard means from The Rules of the Monks to the theological advices to the Popes.
